FLORIDA... what can I say. Am I freaking crazy for traveling with a two and one year old? YES! But soon Joey will be in school and our schedules will be too full to make trips like this, so I proudly put my crazy hat on and board the plane.
This trip was full of highs and lows. I will only highlight the high moments, since this is a brag page.
Right?
We had a great visit with Nicole, Chase, and Mckenna. Yes, I finally met Miss Mckenna, who is the sweetest little baby ever! Saturday we went to the beach. (I had my camera set at a high EOS setting so the pictures are over exposed) The beach was a little chilly and Brody was not having the sand, so we went and had Margarita's at Oceans. That evening Pop Pop Joe, Uncle Bob, Joann, and Nonna came over for dinner. Pop Pop and Nonna were in town on separate trips. We all happened to be in the same place at the same time - how great!
Sunday, Joey left for Orlando for work. We had a little photoshoot with Mckenna.
Since it was the coldest day Florida has seen all winter (only in the high 50's) we decided to go the Renaissance Fair. What an experience!
The next day my crew (Little Joey, Brody, and I) went over to Hilary's to spend the night.
It was so great to visit with Hilary! She helped me so much when I lived in Florida and I really cherish her friendship! Delaney and Shannon stopped by with their kids who I hadn't seen in a year! It was so fun to see how everyone had grown and catch up!
Tuesday, Valentines day, was beautiful. We got some much needed pool time! Swimming lessons paid off! Joey swam so well, it surprised me! He had so much fun with Miles, Jillian, and Phoebe.
Wednesday we were off to Orlando. We arrived Wednesday night. We headed to the Disney Thursday - Brody's first Birthday.
Friday, Nicole, Chase, and Mckenna headed back to SoFlo. Big Joey, the Kids, and I headed to Hollywood Studios that afternoon. It rained all day, but we still managed to have fun!
Saturday, it was time to pack. Around lunchtime we headed to the office where they had the biggest Auction in the history of Auctions. It was really cool to see all the equipment in the yard.
Then we had a short drive to Tampa, and jumped on an earlier flight (thank goodness).
Home sweet home!
